In 2012 the Tuscan agroindustrial company Sammontana, with over 1,400 employees distributed across facilities in Empoli (also home to its headquarters), Vinci, Milan, Pomezia and Colognola ai Colli (VR), decided to invest 25 million Euros into the development of its Verona plant, to develop the production of croissants marketed under the historic "il Pasticcere" brand as well as the newly acquired brand "Tre Marie".
The installation of air treatment plants designed and manufactured by VORTICE INDUSTRIAL
Within the scope of this investment, Vortice Industrial supplied four sanitizable air "STEEL CLEAN" treatment plants for the treatment of process air. The machines, entirely in AISI 304 stainless steel, are characterised by welded and pickled sections with rounded edges and bottom with steep slopes, for guaranteed washability. Thermodynamic components suspended over the washing water collection tanks inside sections are easily extractable for maintenance and cleaning, carried out by pressurised water jets. Machine design was adapted to the client's specific requests, both in terms of thermodynamic performance and size, to facilitate installability and maintenance.
